
Holbury
The River Dun, is a tributary of the renowned River Test, and is located south of the town of Stockbridge. The river Dun is around 1.2 km long and has 650 metres of fishable banks, with the average width of six metre it can challenge those looking for some fun fishing.
The water is gin clear and produces some beautiful fish wild brown trout and grayling. On the top half of the beat the water flows fast over chalky gravel beds, with water slowing on the second half going around a bend and under overhanging branches, which is where the trout tend to be found.
Trout Fishing Season, between the 3rd April and the 24th October.
The river Dun is a strictly catch and release river.
